Crazy May!

It seems like we just keep running around lately. The begining of May was our temple anniversary so we planned on attending the temple that first weekend. Well our plans changed and we all went to Kansas City for the groundbreaking of the temple there. It was a great experience. We are very excited to get another temple close. After the groundbreaking we had a picnic, then drove around so that Jenna would fall asleep. While we had our picnic, Jenna saw some kids playing a little ways from us and started crawling towards them. She would get a little ways and turn to us and say bye! It was really cute! We finished the day visiting with one of my best friends and her husband and family. It was such a nice day and I was so happy to get to see friends!

Jenna also had her 1 year check-up at the begining of the month. Her stats: 20lbs, 30" tall! She is just the right size! Her dr found fluid on her right ear which had been there a few weeks before as well. Looking back in her records it had been there in August as well. So he sent us to a specialist. Our appointment was a week later. We waited for an hour and saw the dr for 5 minutes and her diagnoses: no fluid!!! YEA!! She said this time of year is when their ears will easily pop. That was a huge blessing to us.

Our next big thing in May were pictures! We got Jenna's 1-year-old pictures taken. Nicole took them again for us and did amazing as usual! Jenna was very good through the whole thing too. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy from last month.

Jenna has never been a baby who uses a sucker (binki) but she found this in her toys and ran around with it for a while. It just looks so funyn in her mouth!
