Big Changes!

As many of you know Billy has been trying for a new career for over a year now. He has tested with several different police departments in the area and out of the area. Nothing has worked out. He has gotten down to the final cut and has missed; he's been told he has the job and misunderstandings came up. However, we feel that everything happens for a reason and we know that the Lord has our best interest in mind and He cares for us.

After everything Billy has gone through, he has finally been offered a job!!! This isn't just a 'job' though, this is a career, a commitment. Billy will start his career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on July 1!! We both are very excited for this. This is a new begining for him and for our family.

Billy has to attend a 6 month live-in academy in Jefferson City, MO; 4 hours away from home. He will be living there from Sunday evenings thru Friday evenings. Graduation is the middle of December and then we move. Where to you ask? We don't know yet. We hope to find out a few months before he graduates where we will be assigned.

We are really excited about this change. It is going to be sad for Jenna and I to be without Billy during the week for 6 months, but 6 months is a short amount of time for the great career and stability that this will give our family.

We are sad and excited to move. We have lived here for the last 4 1/2 years, I've been in the area longer, but it is always good to try new things.
