If you know Billy and I you know that we both like college football. We actually moved our wedding date up a day so that the big game would not be missed. We got married in the middle of bowl season. We decided it would be fun to go to a bowl game for our anniversary one year. Well the Cotton Bowl is the closest to us, it being in Dallas, Texas. 
We had a great time at the game even though Texas Tech lost. However, we had the best seats in the stadium. We were on the 50 yard line, row 53, right in the middle of the row. We were in the shade for the majority of the game. And we were able to see the whole field!! 
Before the game we walked around the fair grounds for a little bit. There was a ride that took you over the fair grounds and we were able to see the Dallas skyline. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of what we rode in and what we could see.

There was this really cool bar-b-q outside one of the buildings. It was in the shape of a gun. That is the Raiders thing, to hold up your guns.
It was a lot of fun to go to a bowl game. It is something that we may not get to do again. The day was great! Weather perfect, perfect seats and it was nice to be together.
